Solaris 10 zombie will out-shamble us all

In preparing for the first groff 1.24 release candidate, I thought I
might be able to chop out some of the special cases we have for Solaris
10, since that OS was supposed to reach "end of support" in January 2025
(having been extended from January 2023, as I recall).

Hahahaha, no, of course not.

Oracle has stayed Solaris 10's execution yet again, to January 2027.

You may recall that I wanted to get rid of Solaris 10 support for groff
1.23.0, but got blindsided by the support extension to 2025.

Any bets for another extension to 2029?  Meet me back here in 2 years!
