This is a question regarding other bootable devices

I just recently found out about the existance of grub and read all the
docs I could find, and was left with this question. Will grub2 support
adding a cdrom to the list of bootable devices? As you can currently tell
grub to boot from a scsi harddrive or ide harddrive in the same conf, I
was wondering if grub2 would allow to set a cd device as a bootable media.

I hope that wasn't too confusing.
