Support for USB devices even though BIOS does not support boot from USB.
I find that I can boot from most computers but some older (between 2001 and 2006) will not boot via USB external hard drive. I'm wondering if this is a possible hdx vs sdx issue since the error I get is:
error: no such device xxxxxxx-4xxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx.
error: hd1,1 cannot get C/H/S values.
error: you need to load the kernel first.

Using Ubuntu 10.04.1 x86 Kernel 2.6.32-26 and GNU GRUB 1.98-1ubuntu8
Regards,
Dan.
