Good news is that we made progress on some of these issues, but not all;
we also made progress on other things which are really cool, such as the
ISO installer.
Regardless, I think we should be planning for a release within a couple
of weeks. An important question to me is ‘wip-installer’: what do we
do, Danny? John?
I would have loved to have a fix to at least mitigate Guile’s compiler
resource consumption issue. I made some progress at
<https://bugs.gnu.org/28590> notably, but it’s not over yet.
In the meantime, it would be great if people could run an installation
from an ISO image and report bugs and glitches:
