I don't know.  I would also create patches but don't know if it should
be a huge patch or multiple ones, or maybe even it's own branch.

Mode is probably the wrong word.  It basically is just running
"emacsclient --tty".  I sometimes use Emacs in a Linux console, since
I like how it looks (also helps in learning the keybindings and
actually using them, since it forces me to not use the mouse).  I
mentioned it, since it changes how the documentation is rendered.  For
example, there will be no pictures since there is no graphics in a
Linux console.
