I've forgotten to properly check the commit message, it should be:

You can use tempel/yasnippets, guix has some preconfigured commit
messages in (guix source)/etc.

Last nitpick: you can also drop the following change:

  #:use-module (gnu packages haskell-xyz)         ;pandoc
