Thanks Luis and Heiko for your fast answers. I'm new with tryton, so I am learning new things: You both were right: It was a permssion issue, and it looks it works fine with Ubuntu 11.04.
For the records, if that might help someone else in the future:
I'm running trytond as gnuhealth user. Not a root user. As a sudoer user address@hidden:~$ sudo apt-get install tryton-client package tryton-client_1.4.1-1_all.deb has been installed. Then, from same user I can start tryton-client
address@hidden:/$ tryton start and it works fine.
Now my problem is when trying to create the database, following the installation instructions:
server: localhost port: 8000
...and I see on the trytond console:
[Mon Apr 02 18:02:29 2012] INFO:server:waiting for connections... localhost - - [02/Apr/2012 18:04:35] code 400, message Bad request syntax ('\x80g\x01\x03\x01\x00N\x00\x00\x00\x10\x00\x009\x00\x008\x00\x005\x00\x00\x16\x00\x00\x13\x00\x00')
I can't create the Database. Language selector and 'Create' button are disabled. Is it a Client or a server fault? Any ideas?
