Dear All,
Our doctors have some confusion regarding the 'dose' and 'dose unit'.
For example a doctor selected a medicine 'Calamox' which is a suspension of 156.25mg administered orally; following fields are automatically filled on the prescription line:
Medicine: Calamox
Dose: 156.25
Dose Unit: mg
Form: Suspension
Thus the 'Dose' is filled with the strength of the suspension and unit is the unit of the strength.
Now the doctor wants to prescribe 5 ml, 3 times a day to a patient. How can that be done? Do we need to have two more columns in the prescription line for this?
Since most of the patients can not understand '5 ml', the doctor would like to prescribe '1 Tea Spoon'.
Thanking you in anticipation.
