I'm not sure what the star is for.  I downloaded cfengine from
ftp://sunsite.utk.edu/pub/cfengine/cfengine-ftp/cfengine-2.0.a15.tar.gz
since the other to options were not responding and the md5sums don't
match:
[doughnut@extradot download]$ md5sum cfengine-2.0.a15.tar.gz
1cad72c0089bd4244b85417b7a6a1d47  cfengine-2.0.a15.tar.gz


Here's my version info:
