Compiling 2.0.1 on AIX 4.3.3 w/gcc3.0.1.0

I am trying to compile cfengine 2.0.1 on AIX 4.3.3 using gcc 3.0.1.0,
fresh installed from the Bull freeware site, but it fails with:
