Nope, I don't define it anywhere else. In fact, I changed the name of the
variable for the script I sent, and it has the same problem. I'd already
tested it on other names, to no avail.
I could swear I'd successfully used this keyword before, but in thinking
about it, I think I've only done so in scripts I've run as myself, not as
root.
Is this keyword working for anyone in scripts you're running as root?
