Hello,
I would like to ask you for help with using global with emacs running on WinNT.
We have mounted unix directory to our WinNT machines as a clearcase view (it is
not important, as it looks like any other network mounted drive).
I have created using gtags all G* files on unix. Now I like use them from
windows in emacs. It doesn't work. I suspect that emacs can't find the G* files
created by gtags. I hope I don't need to have global installed on WinNT and to
have the G* files created from unix it enough.
When I execute gtags-find-tag it display for a quite some time (20sec) text
"Searching xxx" and after 20sec Searching Done. But nothing is found only
buffer named GTAGS SELCT is created containing text:
"A domain controler for xxx could not be found."
It must be something with GTAGSROOT or to be more precise something with the
way how to write a path to do root where all G* files stored.
I tried to use V:/source/ or V:\source\ but non of working.
I believe somebody must found solution for this, probably I am just doing
something wrong. None of the commands inside emacs for WinNT working.
If I use it in unix it works, using global and inside of emacs.
Thank you for your help!
