You need to do two things:
1. Turn automatic phrasing off
\property Score.automaticPhrasing = ##f
2. Set the default alignment of lyrics to left
\pushproperty LyricVoice.basicLyricTextProperties #'self-alignment-X =
#-1
Note that I haven't tested the above. In particular, do check the syntax of
the pushproperty statement ... it's very new and I haven't actually used it
myself yet, but the above should be roughly correct.
