Certainly. I should also add that this is GnuTLS 1.2.0 on Linux 2.6.
When setting the CA file it reports:

And then when I proceed anyway, it continues:

|<2>| ASSERT: gnutls_buffers.c:255
|<2>| ASSERT: gnutls_buffers.c:974
|<2>| ASSERT: gnutls_handshake.c:883
|<2>| ASSERT: gnutls_buffers.c:255
|<2>| ASSERT: gnutls_buffers.c:974
... These last three lines are then repeated in what seems like forever.
