gcc v2.8.1 on HP v10.20

Hi,
I am trying to compile gcc-2.8.1 on HP v10.20 as I could not find it on
a web site.
I tried compiling it with gcc v3.0.4 but the compile fails in stage 1
with compiler
errors.  I then tried compiling it with an old HP compiler which gets
thru stage 1
and stage 2 ok, but then fails with an unresolved link error "__main".

Any suggestions on how I can get this gcc code level?
Perhaps someone out there has it.
