Hmm, it appears that no distribution ever shipped with gcc-3.0.x,
so the packaged version is hard to find.

Note: to install this into non-default location (current directory), 
you could use:

  rpm2cpio gcc-3.0.4-1.i386.rpm | cpio -ivdm
