I tried all those, vim is having the same problem
but emacs and gvim are fine,.
it happened a number of times. I think mysterious circumstances around
this,
since when you take your keys across those line, the originals start
replacing the wrong characters,
i.e if you do a 'l' over the characters in the currently visible
buffer the old ones get replaced .
