[Help-gsl] hi, first time using gsl

after i successfully compiled the my very simple testing code, and linked it.

when I ./a.out
there is an error:

error while loading shared libraries: libgsl.so.0: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

I cannot figure out where the problem is, i thinked i followed the
instructions from gsl manual

I am using redhat linux version 6.2

Can anyone here help?
