Hello all: I'm using the simplex subrutine to minimize a complex function.
But, when I increase the dimension of the problem, I get the following
error:
gsl: simplex.c:288: ERROR: non-finite function value encountered
Default GSL error handler invoked.
Aborted
What can I do? Should I reduce/increase the initial step?
Thanks in advance.
PS: I'm using the gsl implemented in debian lenny, i.e. v. 1.11
