Hello, I am a student summer intern at the Lawrence Livermore National
Laboratory. I am currently working with a mac and Xcode to write some code
(numerical integration to be exact). I see that the gsl library has
multidimensional monte carlo integration schemes that would be very useful. I
have found some instructions and have compiled and installed the gsl libraries.
They are now located in the standard /usr/local... locations.
Working with computers is not my strong point, and I want to tell Xcode to
search in those places for the libraries. How do I do that?
I do not want to sound too demanding, but in the response, could you make sure
to tell me what to click on in Xcode and what exactly to type, and NOT just
“edit the linker flags settings” or something like that. If you could give
specific instructions for someone not good with computers, I would be most
appreciative. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my e-mail and
consider my request.
Thanks Again,
Daniel Holladay
