Hello,
Are there any plans to include symplectic integrators in the ODE
solvers of GSL?
Standard ODE solvers like Runge-Kutta will lose energy very quickly
with certain kinds of mechanical problems. Symplectic integrators
have been developed to avoid this energy loss.
