It does, but our installation triggered a latent bug in the compiler (the presence of "." in the compiler pathname) that caused it to fail to find /usr/include. With aCC reinstalled from .../5.36/... to .../5_36/... I can build make-3.80 with aCC -Ae with just a bunch of warnings (let me know if you're interested in cleaning them up). make check shows all 78 tests complete w/o failures. Thanks Martin
