Sorry, I messed this up. The last lines of the Makefile should not be
as I wrote:
%:
@echo target \"address@hidden" is $(if $(call
absolute,$@),absolute,relative)
but, instead:
%:
@echo target \"address@hidden" is $(if $(call
relative,$@),relative,absolute)
