I can istall software for a specific location with "make INSTALL DESTDIR=<dir>"
It's work for installation of vim.
I try it on my LFS and install the same version of make which I have in debian.
but there it's not work.
It's ignore from this flag.
Also this option don't shown in make --help and man make.
Does DESTDIR option is part of make?
