In the meantime I downloaded your ob-rec.el, created
../../org-mode/addlcontrib/lisp directory in torg-mode and saved
ob-rec.el in there, so that it hopefully won't be overwritten when I
upgrade or update orgmode from git. I then added (rec . t) to my
org-babel-load-languages, and
it works!
Nice :) I think that is by far the most comfortable way to get recdata
as org-mode tables.
