[Help-stow] multiple-architectures

Suppose the target  directory is /opt
(which is, say, nfs mounted).

We want to install Linux programs in
        /opt/linux/bin

Solaris programs in 
        /opt/solaris2.8/bin

etc.

How does stow handle this multiple-architectures
situation?
