The messages indicate you're running client/server and that the problem
is occuring on the *server*, not the client. You're running out of
space (or inodes) in the server's temporary directory, which is most
likely in /tmp. If you can't make /tmp bigger, you can change the
server's temporary directory with the -T global option (in inetd.conf
for pserver).
