Howdy --
I'm using cvs 1.10.8 NT Client, Solaris server.
In an area checked out to a branch ( "V50D_SOURCE" )
I try updating a single file to a mainline version:
cvs-1.10.8.exe update -r 1.26 uplog
cvs [server aborted]: missing expected branches in
/big2/cvs/master/olf/bin/uplog,v
In an area checked out to mainline (-A), I can cvs update -r 1.26 with no
problems.
So, why is cvs not letting me update to a specific revision if I'm in a branched
area?
Upon further investigation (glad I didn't hit send yet :-)
I cannot check in inside that V50D_SOURCE branch either.
Same error message. Hrm.
So, I rechecked out the whole area...
and now everything works again..
Ok. What was that?
