Yeah, but with a large repository it'll be a lot of work. You'll basically
have to retag each file individually using the numeric revision of the branch
origin (maybe with 'cvs admin -n'). If you tagged your branch origin you
might be able to script some of this, but origins with more than one branch
stemming from them might still cause trouble.
If you keep backups, you could maybe restore a temporary repository and use
it as source data for the script to determine which revisions should be
tagged.
