Easiest way to install it as a server is to use rsh (or better, ssh) and
set up users on the machine.
So, instead of something like :pserver:host:/path, use something like
:ext:host:/path or :ext:address@hidden:/path. (Add export CVS_RSH=ssh for
encryption).
Then, instead of trying to flounder around with cvs and setting up "users"
under cvs and passwords and all that fun stuff, you can just use the normal
and better tested user admin stuff.
