Just thought I'd note that I'm personally with Noel here - it'd be great to see
some of these features in CVS, but someone has to write code for that to happen.
And it isn't worth commiting half the job. Changes have got to come with
sanity.sh
test cases and documentation or they almost always prove to be unmaintainable
and,
in the end, worse than the disease.
If Larry will forgive me for speaking for him, there's lots more that could be
done
than Larry and I have time for.
Other than that, this discussion is great and, of course, there are some real
possibilities for improvement.
Patches gladly accepted!
