Try to telnet to port 2401 .

It may be that port 2401 packets are being filtered.

You could use the rsh/ssh method to access the repository if those protocols
are not filtered.

Hello :

    We are using CVS SERVER in  a RetHat 6.2, and WinCVS 1.2 like Client...

When I tried to connect to cvs server from "command prompt" :

D:\cvs -d :pserver:address@hidden:/home/cvs/test login
<Logging in to address@hidden>
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted] connect to 192.168.1.190:2401 failed: Connection timed
out

But , I connect to CVS SERVER from TELNET....

Why i can´t connect to CVS from windows ???
