Have you done a cvs login?
.cvspass file is where cvs stores the password that pserver
needs to authenticate your connection to the remote cvs server.
Once you login the password will be stored in .cvspass, until
you do a cvs logout.

Subject: .cvspass
Hi,
We're getting the following when attempting to checkout a directory:
sksun{sk}828: cvs co spot/projects/gambit/project_data
cvs checkout: could not open /nfs/sksun/home/sk/.cvspass: No such file
or directory
cvs [checkout aborted]: use "cvs login" to log in first
Does anyone know what this .cvspass file is, and how to resolve
this problem?
Thanks,
David Ratner
