Normally, there should be no problems. However,
there is one very important thing that I discovered at my last
workplace:
If you
are using the cvs version installed with Cygwin and cvs in client/server mode,
make absolutely certain that you are using the cygwin version of
RSH! You can do this by either setting the CVS_RSH environment variable,
putting cygwin directories ahead of windows directories in your path, or
renaming/deleting Windows' RSH.EXE.
The
version of CVS that comes with Cygwin assumes it's on a UNIX system and that the
rsh it uses does NOT do CR-stripping; however, the Windows rsh DOES do
CR-stripping.
If
you're not using Cygwin, don't worry about it.
