I suggest using rsh (or better, ssh) and giving each developer an account
on the linux box.
Then it's simply a matter of setting CVS_RSH to ssh and using
:ext:server:/path/to/repos/on/server as your -d option.
How you plug those in to a GUI, I have no idea. But I would suggest
getting the standard CLI to work first, then trying to add on a GUI.
