The last sentence seems contradictory. You downloaded the software w/ cvs, but
co doesn't create the working directory? How can that be?
Can you post what happens when you type 'cvs -z3 -q -d
:pserver:address@hidden:/soft/cvsroot co -d V3.05 AliRoot'?
