As I just told someone else, a connection reset means the server
accepted the connect but then closed it. Usually that means that inetd
was unable to start the CVS server (usually because the command line in
/etc/inetd.conf has the wrong path to cvs), but it can also be caused by
firewalls, routers, tcpd, and other access-control mechanisms.
