You know, it's really hard to reply to a message like this.
Please stick to plain ASCII text.
As for your subject header (which I was able to read), at a WAG
somebody has done "cvs watch on", which IIRC will cause CVS to
think that files should be read-only except when being worked on,
and a commit means you've finished working on it.
