Thanks Larry,
I guess that's somewhere in the manual. Sorry.
so, on to the next problem :-/
First tests seem to say that it works, but I get an error message at the end
of every cvs command
D:\kris\temp\parapet\PPhead>cvsnt -t status Makefile
-> main loop with CVSROOT=:server:parapet:/usr/local/cvsroot
===================================================================
File: Makefile Status: Up-to-date
Working revision: 1.10
Repository revision: 1.10 /usr/local/cvsroot/parapet/PPhead/Makefile,v
Sticky Tag: (none)
Sticky Date: (none)
Sticky Options: (none)
cvsnt status: reading from parapet: Socket operation on non-socket
-> Lock_Cleanup()
Not sure that it matters though.
Note that parapet is a Linux host (SuSE 6.3) running cvs 1.11.1p1

PS: sorry Mike, I didn't try your suggestion, but I'm sure it will work.
