Hy all, I am using cvs from a linux platform and the cvs directory is on a server. My problem is that the cvs directory for the server in on a windows host D:\CVS. How to login ? Im doing :pserver:address@hidden:???? because it is not linux directory /usr/cvs for example.
Sounds like your server is CVSNT. I _think_ the syntax is something like :pserver:address@hidden://D/CVS/ - poke around the cvsnt.com web site for details.
If that doesn't work, you could always try the CVSNT client - it has been back-ported to UNIX.
