If you are using windows, Tortoise CVS does this for a given file. I use
that and it's history function all the time. I have trouble sometimes if I
am trying to find this information in a project with files that have moved
around a lot though.
If you are able to set up ViewCVS, I seem to recall it did an excellent job
of this thru an HTML interface; however, I do not have it installed on my
current server due to security concerns.
