Hi,
I am facing a small problem with our cvs
repository. The problem is as follows:
Main
|
|
|
|--------------Br1
| |
| |
| X------(Br2: Desired branch by date)
| |
| |
Main_Latest Br1_Latest
The tree is as given. I would like to branch out at
the location X by specifying the date.
I tried the following:
I checked out the Br1 branch, and then did the
following:
cvs tag -b -D 10/09/05 Br2
However this command seems to make a branch from Main
rather than the from Br1. Is there a command that will
enable me to do what I have shown in the diagram?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Gautam.
