Hi all, I'm new to CVS, and I'm using WinCVS on a windows 2000 LAN. I've got a quick question which I'd appreciate some advice on. We have two PCs on a LAN at one location, although my colleague Paul does most of his work on his laptop away from this office, connecting in say once a week. During the week that Paul does his work, we'd like to be able to track his changes on CVS, and somehow integrate those CVS recordings into our CVS repository here. Any suggestions if this is possible and if so how to go about it?
cvs update -dP
The only thing we can think of right now is to have two independant CVS repositories - one on Paul's laptop showing daily changes, and one on our server showing the weekly changes as I recieve the files.
Erhm. I'm also cvs newbie but I think you only have one repository at the server and then you have "local sandboxes" on each computer.
