Hi,On a windows computer I can't make a .cvsignore file so I guess that's why there also is no such thing as a .emacs file under windoze (it's renamed to _emacs or something). So I googled around and found that since I use tortoisecvs I could go into "preferences" or something and use wildcard expression to make the program aware of files I want to ignore.
But I got the impression that going into "preferences" makes those changes "global" for every project. Therefore I would like to make a .cvsignore file, which I can't do under the windows xp operating system.
It must be possible to write somewhere which files tortoisecvs should ignore, but only for a given project/directory - *without* making that "globally". Any hints?
