Did a cvs checkout of CVSROOT, cd CVSROOT in the sandbox, marked config
for edit, changed the LockDir option, and commited the change. Back in
the repositories CVSROOT directory the config and config,v files have
been modified but not so .#config? Why not and what is/are the purpose/s
of the ".#" files?
Thanks.

Exactly.

It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.
