Cannot login or checkout module in CVSNT

Hello,

I'm receiving this error when trying to checkout a module in CVSNT:

cvs [checkout aborted]: Couldn't connect to named pipe on remote
machine: Error 2

How to solve it please?  Both computers run XP-PRO SP2
