The US Copyright Office is seeking comments on a new proposed rule.
As part of the proposed rule, a new form for copyright preregistration
online would only be accessible with Microsoft's Internet Explorer
browser.
We are collecting comments opposing this requirement. If you e-mail us
your comment by August 18, we will post it at fsf.org and send a print
version to Washington.
Further background as well as instructions for writing and sending a
comment can be found at
<http://www.fsf.org/campaigns/copyright-comments.html>.
