The simplest way to solve this problem is to run gnus via ssh to the
other box and use X11 forwarding to your local display.
ssh -CX hostname
If you were looking for an even more complicated solution, I'd
recommend installing courier + courier imap on the FreeBSD box and
nnimap would synchorize flags between the 2 gnus.
I don't know of how to do temporary browse mbox file however.
