message font-lock bug ?

Hi,

I did not remarked exactly when did it occurred, but for a while highlighted
text  *like  that*  is displayed  in  bold  face,  but  the "*"  chars  keep
displayed.

I also just tried that /italic/ is no more italic.

_underlined_ and -stroked- are correctly treated.

I am currently with the cvs emacs that i checked out less than an hour ago.
I have seen same behavior also under OSX.

Maybe i could send a bug report ?
