Before I forget, thanks again for the help and useful tool set. I have

FYI, after some Googling I tweaked the make file to use -pthread instead
of -lpthread and got the following outputs.
thanks, we'll have to switch to that in the configure script.

FAILED SFTP JAIL CONNECTION:
Nov 29 09:51:52 portal2 sshd[31782]: subsystem request for sftp by user
upload
Nov 29 09:51:52 portal2 jk_chrootsh[31783]: now entering jail /jail for
user upload (1001) with arguments -c /usr/lib/openssh/sftp-server
Nov 29 09:51:52 portal2 jk_lsh[31783]: jk_lsh version 2.14, started
Nov 29 09:51:52 portal2 jk_lsh[31783]: cannot find user info for USER
upload: Success
the 'cannot find user info' usually means that it fails to get the user
information from <jail>/etc/passwd, often this is an issue with libnss
plugins that are missing (search the archives for this list for more info).
